Editorial standards

Current events come first

We prioritise news, reports and previews of the most important sporting events in Hungary and worldwide. Major competitions hosted in Hungary and significant Hungarian performances receive particular attention.

The homepage and News section select developments from today and the previous two calendar days, plus events starting within the next 30 days. Sources must have been checked within seven days. Uploading a story does not make an old development current. A preview leaves this selection when its event begins; further coverage requires renewed verification.

Publication, event and source-check dates are treated separately. Completed competitions receive reports. The archive remains searchable, and old stories are never promoted simply by changing their date.

Accurate stories, clear responsibility

We seek primary sources for news and distinguish facts, editorial interpretation and opinion. Interviews are based on real conversations. We do not invent quotations.

Photography and rights

We use original, authorised or appropriately licensed photographs with credits. Illustrative and archive images are labelled. A generic sports photograph is never presented as on-site evidence of a specific event.

Paid partnerships are clearly identified. Partners cannot purchase a favourable editorial verdict or fabricated audience figures.

We correct factual errors and add a correction note when a material change is made. Readers can contact us through the Contact page. Our editorial team remains responsible for published content, including translations and work supported by digital tools.
